Integra appoints Chris Whittington as Global Head of Aviation

Integra Technical Services (“Integra”), a leading global provider of specialty insurance loss adjusting and risk engineering services, today announced the appointment of Chris Whittington as Global Head of Aviation, marking a significant milestone in the continued expansion of its specialist aviation offering.

Chris joins Integra from an international adjusting firm, where he held the position of Regional Director EMEA & Deputy Global Managing Director – Aviation. His appointment follows the successful launch of Integra’s aviation practice in Latin America earlier this year and underscores the firm’s commitment to building a market-leading, global aviation adjusting capability.

As Global Head of Aviation, Chris will lead the strategic development of Integra’s aviation division, driving technical excellence, client service, and growth across key international hubs. His arrival represents the first in a series of planned senior hires, with additional surveyors and liability adjusters set to join in the coming months.

Chris brings a strong combination of technical and claims expertise.  With a background as a licensed aircraft engineer, he has more than ten years’ operational maintenance experience on a range of aircraft, gained with leading airlines and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisations. He transitioned into loss adjusting in 2006, where he has since built over two decades of experience handling complex aviation claims, including a period within a leading London Market aviation Insurer, gaining valuable insight from an underwriting perspective.

He holds an MSc in Safety and Accident Investigation – Air Transport from Cranfield University, alongside the Certificate in Insurance from the CII, underscoring his deep technical knowledge and commitment to professional excellence.
